Naples, FL – The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is pleased to announce that the Student Council at Manatee Elementary school is hosting a Food Drive throughout October to benefit the more than 4,000 individuals the nonprofit certified domestic violence center serves face-to-face each year.

The students will be collecting the following items throughout the month of October:

• Gift Cards to Publix, Wal-Mart, Target, SweetBay, etc.
• Canned Ham, Spam, Chicken
• Canned Tuna Fish
• Canned Chili
• Spaghetti & Canned Sauce
• Canned Soups
• Peanut Butter & Jelly  
• Cereal   
• Oatmeal
• Granola Bars (and other snacks for lunches)
• Juice Boxes
• Ramen Noodles - All Flavors
• Condensed Milk
• Rice & Beans
• Canned Vegetables & Fruits
