For Immediate Release: 5/17/07 Naples, FL – The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is seeking volunteers to support the nonprofit’s activities throughout the summer. According to Shelter Volunteer & Resource Coordinator Jackie Young, “Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, they make it possible for us to serve more than 4,000 women and children victims of domestic violence face-to-face every year, as well as support our efforts that allow us to touch the lives of more than 19,400 persons annually.” Volunteer opportunities with the Shelter for Abused Women & Children include, but are not limited to:
