For Immediate Release: 6/14/07
Naples, FL – The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is pleased to announce that Unity Church of Naples is hosting their 16th annual July Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive that will again, this year, benefit the more than 4,000 women and children the nonprofit certified domestic violence center serves face-to-face each year. According to Ginger Scrivani, Unity of Naples, “Our shopping cart, which was graciously donated by Publix, will once again be out in the walkway on Sunday mornings throughout July to hold the generous donations of peanut butter and jelly.” She continues, “We know that food is especially needed at the Shelter during the summer months, due to decreased income in many families and the lack of school lunches.” Donations can be dropped off at Unity of Naples, 2000 Unity Way, off Davis Blvd., Naples.
