Shelter for Abused Women & ChildrenShelter for Abused Women & Children Provides Community “Another Option”For Immediate Release: 1/18/08 Naples, FL –The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Another Option, the nonprofit organization’s second thrift store, taking place at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 5239 Golden Gate Parkway, Naples. “We’re excited to be able to provide Another Option to residents in Golden Gate and the surrounding area,” explains Another Option Store Manager Laura Philbert. “This is another opportunity for the community to enjoy shopping for quality merchandise at great prices while helping support the life-saving programs and services offered by the Shelter for Abused Women & Children.” The 2,898 square foot store will feature clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as some furniture and home accents, and joins the Shelter’s first resale store, Options Thrift Shoppe (located at 968 Second Avenue North) in providing victims and survivors of domestic violence the opportunity to shop, using complimentary vouchers, for the items needed as they rebuild their lives free from domestic abuse. All donations of new and gently used items should continue to be dropped at Options Thrift Shoppe located at 968 Second Avenue North; 239-434-7115.
