Shelter Benefits from Bonita Blues Festival

Naples, FL – The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is one of three beneficiaries of the Second Annual Bonita Blues Festival, taking place Saturday, March 15, 2008, from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Riverside Park, Bonita Springs; tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate, children 12 and under free.

This year’s event features food, beverages and live music by:

  • John Mooney
  • Albert Castiglia
  • Blind Pass
  • Little Eddie & the Fat Fingers
  • Frank Corso

Hosted by the Bonita Blues Charitable Foundation, the event is designed to provide assistance to local nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping infants, the homeless, as well as abused women and children throughout the community.

The 2008 Bonita Blues Festival recipient organizations are the Immokalee Friendship House, Healthy Start and the Shelter for Abused Women & Children.
