Shelter Hopes Designers’ Boutique at The Ritz will Help Mend Broken Hearts

Naples, FL – Join the Shelter for Abused Women & Children and the Shelter Guild for the new “Designers’ Boutique at The Ritz,” held both Friday and Saturday, February 29 and March 1, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as part of the 8th annual Mending Broken Hearts with Hope Luncheon set for Friday, February 29, 2008, at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples.

“We hope that the community will come out and support the Shelter by shopping the new Designers’ Boutique at The Ritz,” explains Director of Development Cyndi Fields. “Each vendor is donating 15% of their proceeds from the two days of the Boutique to the Shelter to help adult and child victims of domestic violence.”

The Designers’ Boutique, taking place both Friday and Saturday, February 29 and March 1, 2008, includes 18 established vendors:

(No admission for Boutique and complimentary parking is available both days).

The luncheon itself, taking place Friday, February 29, starting at 11 a.m., benefits the Shelter for Abused Women & Children’s programs and services and includes a silent auction, a raffle and keynote address by one of America’s foremost legal experts on crimes of violence against women and children, former Manhattan Prosecutor and best-selling crime novelist Linda Fairstein.

This year’s raffle items include:

  • Tahitian South Sea Black Pearl Necklace – featuring 41 pearls ranging in size from 12mm to 9.5mm and 18k white gold clasp with .30 carats of diamonds. Donated by DuFrane Jewelers.
  • 11-night Baltic Adventure cruise for two aboard the Regent Seven Seas – July 15-26, 2008, Deluxe Suite. Departs and returns to Stockholm with stops in Talliann, Estonia, St. Petersburg, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland & Denmark. Economy class airfare or $1,000 in air credit. Donated by Preferred Travel of Naples.
