Naples, FL – The Education Committee of the Guild for the Shelter for Abused Women & Children will host the first installment of the 2008 Purple Bag Lecture Series, Secrets of Healthy Relationships, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Collier County Public Library, Naples Branch, 650 Central Avenue, Naples.

Join Shelter Outreach/Community Education Advocate Natalie Quintero to explore the Secrets of Healthy Relationships, including the characteristics of healthy relationships; a tool for evaluating how a relationship affects other areas of one’s life; the basic rights each individual has within a relationship; boundaries; and finding a balance within relationships.

The series, organized by the Education Committee of the Shelter’s Guild, is designed to raise awareness about domestic violence; educate the community on breaking the cycle of abuse; and provide resources to women, children and men victims of domestic violence, as well as those who care for them.

The Purple Bag Series is underwritten by Jerry Wachowicz, Realtor.
