What a blessing for women and their children to have the shelter as a safe place. When i was raising my 6 children there was nothing like this out there.Fortunetly my children and i made it through all the rough years. Our faith and strenght in our lord is the only way we made it.The help your facility and staff offer women and children is priceless.God Bless You.

Thank you for providing a haven for women and children living under horrific, abusive conditions. Your shelter was chosen to give our Love Offering from our Meditation Evening at Lake Center Yoga last night along with our prayers and blessings. May your work continue to uplift the world so that every being may vibrate with the highest joy and the deepest peace.

On behalf of Margo Whiteman Vahlkamp's extended family in Indianapolis, thank you for the loving support offered by Shelter staff at the recent murder trial of her husband David. It was very comforting for those of us back in Indiana to know that our family was in such loving hands. David's conviction on first-degree murder for Margo's death cannot bring her back, but we know he'll never hurt another family like he has ours. May God bless your continued efforts on behalf of abused women and children.

I was in an abusive relationship all through highschool. I married at 17 and thought that life was supposed to be this way. I did not have an organization that wanted to help as you all do. Thankfully he left me for another woman. Some are not so lucky. Please keep up the community work. Peaceful Paws and the like let people know you are there. Those people may never get another chance to see what life can really be about. God Bless you.
